To start your application for the BME study programme, there are two required documents:
1. Your high school diploma (or latest transcript) or SAT
2. A proof of English Language Proficiency

June 15 (EEA)- May 1 (non-EEA)
*for Flemish and Dutch diploma holders: 19 April

Step 1
Submit your application via the centralised UCLL Application
Step 2
Wait patiently while we process your application (approximately 2-3 weeks)
Step 3
Follow up on the application through the online application tool, and submit any requested documents, if necessary
Step 4
Once we approved your application, you can finalise your enrolment at the first-year partner of your choice

Required documents
1. Your high school diploma (or latest transcript)
We will accept your diploma if it grants access to a similar degree programme in higher education in the country where the diploma was issued. We will also accept the English-language IB diploma. For a more detailed overview of the required diploma per country, see the UCLL website.
2. Proof of English proficiency (test taken 2 years ago or less)*
- IELTS Academic 6.0 or IELTS Academic Online 6.0 (no subscore below 5.5)
- TOEFL iBT (Home) – Tests taken before January 21 2026 – 70 (no section below 16)
- TOEFL iBT (Home) – Tests taken after January 21 2026 – 4.0 (no section below 3.0)
- We accept My Best Score
- TOEFL Essentials 7.5 (no subscore below 7)
- Cambridge Assessment English B2 First 170
- ITACE B2 (test centres in Belgium only)
* Or to have a diploma higher secondary education from Flanders, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States of America, New Zealand, Australia, Canada (except Québec), or Ireland, or have an English-language IB diploma.
